  9. This will defeat the virus-free security envelope.  PLEASE, PLEASE, do not
  10. repackage the file, or meddle with it's contents!  Thank you!

  16. You *MUST* run the INSTPOVM.EXE utility before POVMenu will even think about
  17. working correctly.  See the quick start instructions in the DOC file for more
  18. info, or better yet, read the DOCs before installing!  What!? Read the DOCs!?

  22. IF YOUR UPGRADING FROM v1.0

  25. POVMenu version 1.1 *IS NOT* a drop in replacement for version 1.0!  The
  26. POVMENU.CFG file format has changed.  If your upgrading from version 1.0,
  27. see the section in the doc file about upgrading.  INSTPOVM.EXE will convert
  28. your existing POVMENU.CFG file to the new format.

  34. The POVMNU11.ARJ archive should yield the following files:

  36.       POVMENU.EXE  <-- The menu program.
  37.       POVMENU.V11  <-- Default configuration file, (renamed to POVMENU.CFG).
  38.      POVMHELP.DAT  <-- Online help text displayed by the menu program.
  39.      INSTPOVM.EXE  <-- Installation/Upgrade utility.
  40.         RUNPL.BAT  <-- Example user defined menu pick.
  41.       POVMENU.DOC  <-- The DOC file.
  42.        README.1ST  <-- What you're reading now!
  43.         WHATS.NEW  <-- What's new in version 1.1.
  44.          DESC.SDI  <-- Description file (may be deleted).
  45.       FILE_ID.DIZ  <-- Description file (may be deleted).

  47. The POVMNU11.ARJ file was created using the ARJ security envelope feature.
  48. When un-ARJing, the last line of text on your screen should say:

  50. *** This archive HAS a valid ARJ-SECURITY envelope ***

  52. If POVMenu was not packed in an ARJ file or ARJ doesn't report a clean file
  53. when un-ARJing, you are urged to seek an original copy of the archive!
